RULES & FORMAT
WEEKLY RUNS
- Open to approved applicants only — access is confirmed by email or text after review.
- Missing two consecutive weeks without notice may lose your standing access, and the spot opens to the waitlist.
- Standard pickup rules apply — win by 2, call your own fouls unless otherwise stated day-of.
CHALLENGE MØDE — BRACKET PLAY
- Single elimination bracket, 8–16 competitors depending on format (1v1, 2v2, 3v3).
- 1v1: first to 30, win by 2, with halftime breaks.
- 2v2 / 3v3: first to 30 (set per event), win by 2, with halftime breaks.
- 5-minute grace period for check-in — a no-show after that forfeits the match.
- Tiebreaker: sudden point wins it.
- MØDE reserves final say on any disputed call.
WAIVER
By participating in or attending any MØDE event, I acknowledge that basketball and physical competition carry an inherent risk of injury, and I voluntarily assume that risk. I release MØDE, its organizers, and the venue from liability for injuries sustained during the event, except in cases of gross negligence.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Competitive energy, trash talk, and callouts are part of the culture — that's what MØDE is built on. Real disrespect, fighting, or unsportsmanlike conduct is not. Anyone who crosses that line will be removed from the event without refund.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
- Spectator tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the event, and non-refundable after that.
- Competitor entry is non-refundable once the bracket is finalized.
- If MØDE cancels or reschedules an event, all tickets are refunded or transferred, attendee's choice.
PHOTO / VIDEO RELEASE
By attending or participating in any MØDE event, you consent to being photographed and filmed for MØDE's content and promotional use across social media and the website.

What should I bring?
Comfortable gear, water, and ID for check-in.
Are there age restrictions?
You must be 13+ to compete; all ages are welcome to watch. Competitors under 18 can only be matched against opponents within a 2-year age gap. Competitors 18 and over can be matched against any other competitor 18 or over.
What if it rains, or there's a venue issue?
MØDE will email affected attendees and get the issue resolved.
