Mo Niang is an entrepreneur, trader and basketball player whose life has been shaped by movement, opportunity and proximity.

Born in Baltimore, raised across Senegal and Milwaukee, and exposed to different environments from an early age, Mo learned that the people you meet, the rooms you enter and the opportunities you’re exposed to can completely change the direction of your life.

Basketball became one of his first doors. Through AAU and high-level competition, he traveled across all 50 states, experienced different cultures and environments, and built relationships with athletes competing at the highest levels. Training with NBA players and growing alongside people he had known since childhood reinforced something that would later become central to his philosophy: proximity matters.

His journey has never followed one traditional path. From basketball and financial markets to entrepreneurship, partnerships, education, travel and his connection to Senegal, each chapter has opened another world.

Rather than choosing one lane, Mo began connecting them.

MØDE was created to bring those worlds together under one realm—a growing ecosystem built around access, performance, culture, community and opportunity.
